Indonesia – Toyo Engineering Group has recently won a contract for providing offshore supply services as well as part of the engineering for an acrylic acid production plant. The plant with a capacity of 100,000 tonnes per year is located in Cilegon, Banten, on the western tip of Java, Indonesia. The contract is awarded by Nippon Shokubai Indonesia, Indonesian subsidiary of Nippon Shokubai Co.

The consortium of Inti Karya Persada Tehnik; Toyo’s Indonesian subsidiary; and SMCC Utama Indonesia, Indonesian subsidiary of Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co. is responsible for engineering, domestic procurement and construction work. The plant is scheduled for completion in 2021.
