Japan: Naphta Cracker Toyo Wins Contract for Naphta Cracking Furnaces Project
Toyo Engineering Corporation was awarded an expansion of naphtha cracking furnaces project from Maruzen Petrochemical, which is intended to increase ethylene production at its Chiba plant.

Narashino/Japan — The engineering company has participated in this project from basic design stage. The new contract is a lump sum turnkey order for engineering, procurement, and construction concerning two naphta cracking furnaces.
Since 1967, when the company received an order of the third Ethylene Plant at Chiba Plant, Toyo continued to execute various projects for the client. Based on this partnership, the engineering services provider will carry out this project towards completion scheduled in 2020.The contractors domestic subsidiary, Tec Project Services Corporation (TPS), will mainly take part in the construction work.
