Technip FMC’s proprietary Hummingbird ethanol-to-ethylene technology has been finalised by Lanza Tech to manufacture sustainable aviation fuel. The technology will be used to produce 10 million gallons per year of sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel.
Under a joint development agreement, Technip FMC and Clariant will work towards the demonstration and commercialisation of Clariant’s new Acrylomax propylene ammoxidation catalyst which is used for the production of acrylonitrile.
A demonstration plant will be built inorder to showcase Carbios’ Enzymatic Recycling Process which is capable of depolymerising waste PET plastics and converted it into monomers.
