Ruskhimalyans, Linde, and Renaissance Heavy Industries have entered into an EPC contract to establish a natural gas liquefaction plant within Gazprom and Rusgazdobycha’s joint venture owned Gas Processing Complex near Ust-Luga in Russia. Under the terms of the contract, Linde and Renaissance Heavy Industries will be in-charge of construction and installation of two production trains with a total capacity of 13 million tons of liquefied natural gas per year.

Venture Global LNG has entered into two long term sales and purchase agreements with Sinopec for supplying 4 million tons per annum of LNG from its Plaquemines LNG export facility in the USA. A subsidiary of Sinopec will also purchase 3.5 million tons of LNG from the company’s Calcasieu Pass LNG unit. The deal is claimed to be the largest single LNG supply deal ever signed by a US company.

Advanced Biofuel Solutions (ABSL) and Greenergy have entered into a joint development agreement to develop and operate up to five municipal waste-based biofuel plants in the UK over a period of time. The first plant is expected to commence in 2025 and will use will make use of ABSL’s RadGas technology to convert 133,000 tons of municipal waste annually into biomethane.
