Qatar Energy and Chevron Phillips Chemical recently held a groundbreaking ceremony to develop a 6 billion-dollar integrated polymers complex in Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar. The project is expected to include the largest ethane cracker in the Middle East and one of the largest in the world.

The new production facility for coating resins is located in the Supa Japanese Industrial Zone in Maharashtra, India. With this project, the firm has tripled its production capacity. The coating resins will be used for automotive and infrastructure applications.

The Northern Endurance Partnership has selected Technip FMC to deliver the first all-electric integrated project for carbon capture and storage. The company’s all-electric solution will collect and feed the pressurized gas into an aquifer for permanent storage.
