Braskem has unveiled a completely new generation of bio-based and circular product solutions at K 2025. The MDO film with I'm green bio-based PE along with Medcol: I'm green bio-based LDPE for healthcare are two of the latest solutions introduced by the firm.

Aguas Pacífico has awarded an Operation and Maintenance contract to Veolia for its multipurpose desalination plant in Valparaíso, Chile. With a capacity to produce 1,000 l/s of desalinated water, the project is the first of its kind in the country.

The partnership between Arkema and Catalyxx aims to accelerate the production of low-carbon, bio-based acrylic resins by making use of proprietary technology. Catalyxx intends to develop an innovative industrial facility to produce bio-alcohols while Arkema is assessing the use of these bio-alcohols as feedstocks for the commercial-scale production of bio-based acrylic resins with lower carbon footprint.

Lummus Technology’s Novolen polypropylene technology has been chosen by Vioneo for a new grassroots plant in Antwerp, Belgium. The plant will be a part of the world’s first industrial scale fossil-free plastics production complex based on green methanol.
