Topsoe will lead the Frontfuel project which intends to produce highly efficient sustainable aviation fuel from carbon dioxide, water and renewable energy. The Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Program has granted a fund of 3.9 million dollars for the project.

Technip Energies has been selected by Hycc to develop Djewels, a green hydrogen project in the Netherlands. Mcphy’s innovative ‘Augmented Mclyzer’ technology will also be used for the project to produce up to 3,000 tons of green hydrogen annually from renewable power and water.

Lanzatech UK has awarded the Feed contract to Fluor for the development of sustainable aviation fuel facilities in Port Talbot, Wales. With this, Fluor will support Lanzatech’s Project Dragon which aims to convert locally derived waste gases to ethanol.

thyssenkrupp Uhde has partnered with the Offset consortium which is led by project developer SwitcH2 to build an industrial-scale floating green hydrogen and ammonia plant. The project has also received a 3 million euro grant from the Dutch Government.

Andritz has been chosen by Koppö Energia to carry out a front-end engineering design for its mega green hydrogen facility in Kristinestad, Finland. The new plant is expected to have a capacity of 200 MW on completion.

Kraton Corporation has plans to produce up to 100 % ISCC Plus certified renewable Styrenic Block Copolymers at its Berre site in France. The move is part of its Cirkular+ Renew Series and will help the firm to further reduce the carbon footprint of its fossil-based products made at the site by up to 85%.

Gail has partnered with Lanzatech to explore the establishment of a CO2 capture and conversion pilot project in India. With this project, the companies aim to develop everything from fuels, packaging to clothing from biorecycled material instead of virgin fossil fuel.
