Cargill Incorporated’s 17-acre specialty chemical manufacturing facility in Dalton, Georgia, USA has now been acquired by the Aditya Birla Group. With this, the Group aims to expand its U.S. Advanced Materials business.

Japanese energy company Eneos has partnered with Honeywell to begin basic engineering for what is set to be the first commercial-scale hydrogen supply chain in Japan based on MCH (methylcyclohexane). The project aims to facilitate hydrogen transport using Honeywell UOP’s dehydrogenation process, supporting production, storage, distribution, and material recycling within Eneos refineries.

OMV Petrom has begun construction work for developing a sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel (HVO) production unit at the Petrobrazi refinery in Brazi, Romania. On completion, the project is expected to have an annual capacity of 250,000 tons.

Under a Joint Development Agreement, Sasol, Anglo American and De Beers will work together to generate feedstock for the production of renewable diesel in South Africa.

Under a MOU signed between Uniper and Kyuden, both the companies will work together to explore collaboration in hydrogen and ammonia trading activities, renewable energy and carbon capture utilization and storage related activities.
