Lummus Technology has invested in Innovent Renewables with an aim to accelerate the deployment of its proprietary tire recycling technology. Innovent’s technology is capable of converting end of life tires into high-value products such as tire pyrolysis oil, recovered carbon black, pyrolysis gas and steel.

Under a non-binding agreement signed between Kemira and the Hazer Group, both the companies will work together to evaluate and explore commercial opportunities for the deployment of Hazer’s proprietary methane pyrolysis technology.
