Reliance has entered into a MOU with India’s Gujarat state to invest 80 billion dollars in green energy as well as other projects. The deal includes the establishment of the mega renewable energy power plant along with the development of a green hydrogen eco-system.

Masdar, Siemens Energy and Total Energies have signed a collaboration agreement on the sidelines of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) 2022, to act as co-developers for a demonstrator plant project, which will be established at Masdar City, Abu Dhabi’s flagship sustainable urban development.

Haldor Topsoe has entered into a 51-million-dollar loan agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to support its research in the development of low-carbon technologies for the production of green hydrogen, green ammonia, biofuels, and electrified methanol.

Cummins and China Petrochemical Corporation (“Sinopec Group”) announced the formation of a 50:50 joint venture – Cummins Enze (Guangdong) Hydrogen Technology Co., Ltd (“Cummins Enze”). The NA6 Sodium Analyzer from Electro Chemical Devices (ECD) is equipped with an advanced glass electrode sensor that measures sodium in water to the parts per billion, parts per million or milligram per liter levels and is used across various industries such as pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, H2 electrolysis, steam turbine and boiler water, electronics, refineries, etc.

With this mega project in Illinois, USA, Air Liquide has plans to bring its worldwide biomethane production capacity to 1.8 TWh. The new unit will produce biomethane from biogas from a solid waste treatment plant and will have a production capacity of 380 GWh per year.

Sinopec has recently completed the construction of China’s maiden megaton carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) project – the Qilu-Shengli Oilfield CCUS. With this, the company plans to reduce carbon emissions by 1 million tons annually.

BP has acquired a stake in Green Biofuels which offers a low emission advanced hydrogenated vegetable oil fuel. This sustainable fuel can be used as a direct replacement for diesel and the acquisition will expand BP’s global biofuels portfolio and its lower carbon solutions.

Nuberg EPC has won a contract by Uzbekistan Hydrogen Peroxide for building a 85 TPD hydrogen peroxide plant in Uzbekistan. The facility will produce 50 % hydrogen peroxide by making use of a high-yield hydrogen peroxide technology and manufacturing process.

RWE has preselected Linde as the technical provider for two 100 MW PEM electrolyzers of the large-scale ‘GET H2’ project in Lingen, Germany. The 200 MW plant is part of a mega 300 MW electrolyzer plant which is expected to produce green hydrogen if it secures the funding from the German Government.
