Total Energies and Holcim have collaborated together to study various energies and technologies for developing an efficient CCUS system which will help to decarbonize Holcim’s entire cement plant in Belgium. Thyssenkrupp Uhde has been selected as a technology provider for the new blue ammonia facility in USA. The new project will make use of the carbon capture and sequestration processes to produce blue ammonia which has the potential to reduce carbon emissions by more than 60 % as compared to conventional ammonia.

Mc Dermott along with its storage business, CB&I has been awarded a Front-End Engineering Design (Feed) contract by Gunvor Petroleum for developing a green hydrogen import terminal project in the Netherlands.
