Under a partnership agreement between the two parties, Adnoc and Baker Hughes will speed up the development and commercialization of technology solutions for green and low-carbon hydrogen as well as graphene.

Technip Energies has partnered with John Cockerill to form a new company called Rely. The newly established firm will be 60 % owned by Technip Energies and 40 % owned by John Cockerill and will deliver integrated green hydrogen solutions.

Total Energies and Tree Energy Solutions will carry out the preliminary studies and aim to reach a Final Investment Decision in 2024. The large-scale e-NG production unit is expected to produce 100,000 to 200,000 metric tons of e-NG annually.

Topsoe’s new facility in Denmark will manufacture electrolyzers in order to produce green hydrogen. The factory is expected to have an initial 500 MW manufacturing capacity and will be operational by 2025.

Safran Aerosystems has plans to purchase Air Liquide’s oxygen and nitrogen aerospace technology activities, excluding marine-related cryogenic activities. The move is in line with Air Liquide’s strategy of focusing on its key activities to maximize its performance.

Under a MOU signed between Keppel Infrastructure and Exxonmobil Asia Pacific, both the firms will work together to explore low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia solutions in Singapore. The move has been carried out in the background of the Singapore Government’s launch of the National Hydrogen Strategy which expects hydrogen to meet up to half of Singapore’s power needs by 2050.

Evonik has plans to invest in a pilot electrolyzer at its Herne site in Germany. The project aims to produce green hydrogen as a starting product for isophorone diamine. This new electrolysis technology will also be researched by Siemens for industrial usage.

Neste has plans to begin the basic engineering phase for its 120 MW electrolyzer project which will produce green hydrogen at its Porvoo refinery in Finland. The company is also undertaking a preliminary study with Porvoon Energia for the utilization of renewable heat in district heating.

Air Products has entered into an investment agreement with the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Uzbekneftegaz JSC to acquire, own and operate a natural gas-to-syngas processing facility in Uzbekistan. The plant is claimed to be one of the most advanced energy plants in the world and currently produces 1.5 million tonnes per year of high value-add synthetic fuels for domestic use and export.

BASF has partnered with Advent Technologies to establish a supply chain for fuel cell systems in Europe. With this move, BASF aims to expand its hydrogen related portfolio by scaling up the production of its Celtec Membrane Electrode Assembly technology for fuel cells while Advent will produce fuel cell systems at its manufacturing facility in Greece.
