In line with the goals of the European Green Deal, Ineos Olefins Belgium has plans to create the region’s most eco-friendly and sustainable cracker project ever at a whooping cost of 3+ billion euros. The landmark ‘Project One’ will be located at the port of Antwerp in Belgium and will make use of the latest technologies to produce ethylene with the lowest carbon footprint in all of Europe.

Air Liquide Technology Chosen for Japan’s First Production of Low-Carbon H2, Ammonia

Air Liquide’s autothermal reforming technology has been chosen by Inpex Corporation for Japan’s first demonstration project which aims to produce low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia. Once combined with carbon capture technology, autothermal reforming can achieve higher energy efficiency, lower investments and a production process which can assist in capturing up to 99 % of carbon in integrated industrial units.
