Avina Clean Hydrogen has chosen KBR’s K-Green technology for its U.S.-based green ammonia project. Once complete, the project is expected to produce 2,200 metric tons of green ammonia daily.

The green hydrogen cluster will be developed in the Valencia region of Spain in order to make the region a leader in green hydrogen production. The project will include production of green hydrogen at BP’s Castellón refinery.

Air Liquide will be using its new cracking technology in the development of an ammonia cracking pilot plant in Belgium. The technology enables the conversion of ammonia into hydrogen, which can then be transported over long distances.

Graforce has launched a new technology called methane electrolysis (plasmalysis) which is capable of converting LNG into CO2-free hydrogen. This technology only requires one-fifth the energy as compared to water electrolysis to produce the same amount of hydrogen.

Emerson’s BM6X Series Slam-Shut valve has now been certified for use in hydrogen applications by Bureau Veritas Italia. This means that the valve can be used for gas transmission networks, regulating stations, and end use infrastructure.

Inpex Corporation has selected BASF’s CO2 capture technology for its Kashiwazaki Clean Hydrogen, Ammonia Project. The project is claimed to be Japan’s first demonstration project for the production of blue hydrogen, ammonia from domestically produced natural gas.

Fluid Components International’s SIL-2 rated FS10i Flow Switch Series offers precision thermal sensors which proves beneficial for the production of green hydrogen energy. It is also claimed to be the only product in its class to carry a SIL 2 compliance rating with a 90 % Safe Failure Fraction.

With a production of 1 billion cubic feet of hydrogen per day, Exxonmobil’s facility in Baytown, Texas, USA is expected to be the world’s largest low carbon hydrogen plant. The project will make use of Topsoe’s Syncor hydrogen technology to produce hydrogen as well as capture and store more than 98 % of its associated CO2 emissions.
