Topsoe has received a massive funding of 94 million euros from EU’s Innovation Fund for developing a solid oxide electrolyzer cells factory in Denmark. The factory is expected to manufacture advanced, energy efficient solid oxide electrolyzer cells which are used in the production of green hydrogen.

KBR’s blue ammonia technology has been selected by Inpex Corporation and LSB Industries for a large-scale clean ammonia production and export project in the US Gulf Coast. KBR will be responsible to provide technology licensing and proprietary engineering design for the 1.1 million tonnes per annum ammonia plant.

The Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM) is cooperating with Namibia in research for a hydrogen pilot plant and refueling station. With this, both the parties aim at jointly collecting scientific insights for upscaling green hydrogen technologies.

The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and the State of Rhineland-Palatinate have approved up to 124.3 million euros in funding for BASF’s 54-MW water electrolysis plant. The PEM electrolyzer is expected to produce up to 8,000 metric tons of hydrogen every year.
