The U.S. Department of Energy, under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, has selected two of Chemours Company’s applications for grants totaling 60 million dollars. The grants will support the development of next-generation membranes for PEM water electrolysis and circularity infrastructure for clean hydrogen materials.

Verdagy collaborated with Shell to successfully complete a rigorous safety review along with a detailed design and technology development review of Verdagy’s electrolyzers. These electrolyzers claim to provide the lowest levelized cost of hydrogen by combining high current densities, the widest operating range in the industry and fast response, to enable seamless coupling with renewable power sources.

CF Industries has awarded a licensing and engineering contract to Topsoe to support a front-end engineering and design study of a new low-carbon ammonia plant in Louisiana, USA.

Cepsa and Evos will work together to store green methanol produced by Cepsa at Evos’ storage facilities in Algeciras, Spain and Rotterdam, the Netherlands. In addition to this, green ammonia will also be stored in Algeciras, Spain.

Yara Growth Ventures has successfully invested in Dynelectro, a firm that develops electrolysis technologies for low-cost renewable hydrogen. The move is in line with Yara’s goal of decarbonizing its fertilizer production and enabling the hydrogen economy.

MOL Group’s new polyol complex in Tiszaújváros has a capacity of producing around 200,000 tonnes of polyol per year. With this project, the company aims to establish new standards in terms of efficiency, environmental friendliness and automation by combining proven technologies with innovative solutions.

Under a MOU signed between Air Liquide and Vopak, both the parties will work together to develop infrastructure for ammonia import, cracking and hydrogen distribution in Singapore. The partnership aims to support Singapore’s National Hydrogen Strategy which focusses on establishing low-carbon hydrogen supply chains.
