Hycamite TCD Technologies has recently inaugurated Europe’s largest methane-splitting plant in Kokkola, Finland. Once fully operational, the nominal capacity of Hycamite’s Customer Sample Facility is expected to reach 2,000 tonnes of low-carbon hydrogen and 6,000 tonnes of high-quality carbon annually.

Clariant has upgraded its portfolio of syngas catalysts with the new Plus series. Reformax LDP Plus, Shiftmax 217 Plus, and Amomax 10 Plus catalysts have been launched over the past five years. The new catalysts have been designed as drop-in solutions with an aim to improve plant economics and reduce carbon emissions.

NZT Power has given out a Notice to Proceed to Technip Energies along with GE Vernova and construction partner Balfour Beatty to execute a major contract for the Net Zero Teesside Power project in the UK.

Thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering has bagged a feed contract from Hystar for an automated 4.5 GW electrolyzer manufacturing line for its GW factory in Høvik, Norway.

Located at MOL’s Százhalombatta refinery in Hungary, the 10 MW facility is claimed to be the largest green hydrogen plant in Central and Eastern Europe. The plant is expected to produce 1,600 tonnes of clean, carbon-neutral green hydrogen per year which will be used for fuel production.

BP and Iberdrola have announced a final investment decision to develop a 25 MW green hydrogen project at BP's Castellón refinery in Spain. The project has secured funding of 15 million euros from the Spanish Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, with funding allocated by Nextgeneration EU.

Linde has plans to invest more than 2 billion dollars to develop a world-scale integrated clean hydrogen and atmospheric gases facility in Alberta in order to supply clean hydrogen to Dow’s Fort Saskatchewan Path2Zero Project in Canada.
