Honeywell has successfully purchased Air Products’ LNG Process Technology and Equipment Business for 1.81 billion dollars. The move is in line with Air Products’ goal of focusing on its two-pillar growth strategy to profitably grow its core industrial gases and related equipment businesses, and to deliver clean hydrogen at scale.

Qair has plans to develop an e-methanol production project Methavert at the Haropa Port site, in Le Havre, France. The facility is expected to initially produce 200,000 tonnes of e-methanol to support the decarbonization of maritime transport and other high-emission and hard-to-abate industries.

Topsoe’s Hydroflex and H2bridge technologies have been chosen for sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel production at Riograndense’s Rio Grande renewable fuels plant in Brazil. With this move, the company aims to produce 16,000 barrels per day of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel.

Topsoe has been selected to provide its e-methanol synthesis technology and engineering support for Forestal del Atlántico’s Triskelion project in Galicia, Spain. The project is expected to produce 40,000 tons of e-methanol annually, while capturing and using c. 56,000 tons of CO2.

Under a strategic agreement signed between the two parties, Kawasaki Heavy Industries and CB&I will work together to promote a commercial-use liquefied hydrogen supply chain and realize a zero-carbon-emission society.
