Evonik has successfully completed the expansion of its methionine production facilities in Singapore. With this, the firm has increased its production capacity by 40,000 metric tons, bringing the total to 340,000 metric tons per year.

Invenergy’s first clean hydrogen project, the Sauk Valley Hydrogen facility in Rock Falls, Illinois, USA has reached commercial operations. The project is expected to produce up to 40 metric tons of clean hydrogen annually with the capacity to store up to 400 kilograms of clean hydrogen on site.

Lhyfe has secured a 149 million euro grant from the French Government for developing a green hydrogen production facility in France. Expected to reach a capacity of up to 34 tonnes per day, the project will receive an initial advance of 18 million euros by June 2025.

Both of Lhyfe’s planned green hydrogen production projects in Wallsend, North Tyneside, and Kemsley, Kent, have been shortlisted under the UK Government’s Hydrogen Allocation Round 2, a public auction system to support the production of low-carbon or renewable hydrogen.
