Wood has recently signed a three-year engineering framework agreement with NEL Hydrogen. Under the terms of the contract, both the companies will work together to develop large-scale green hydrogen production plants across the globe.

Thyssenkrupp has signed a contract with CF Industries to deliver the mega plant in order to produce green ammonia at the Donaldsonville manufacturing complex in Louisiana, USA. The project is expected to decarbonize the world’s largest ammonia production plant.

The newly formed ‘Five T Hydrogen Fund’ is a private infrastructure fund which will be used for developing clean hydrogen infrastructure projects at scale. The fund aims to raise a total of 1 billion dollars from financial and industrial investors.

AGR has selected Linde Engineering to carry out the design and construction of an integrated hydrogen fueling station and electrolysis plant in Herten, Germany. The project has received funding of up to 7.3 million dollars from the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure.

Under the joint initiative Hybrit, SSAB, LKAB and Vattenfall have started the construction of a large-scale hydrogen storage facility located next to Hybrit’s pilot facility in Luleå, Sweden. The storage facility is expected to be operational by 2022.

Under a Technical Collaboration Agreement signed between Total and Siemens, both the companies will jointly focus on natural gas liquefaction facilities and associated power generation in order to explore sustainable solutions.

As part of the mega ‘SeaH2Land’ project, Ørsted is developing a 1 GW renewable hydrogen production facility by 2030. The project is expected to assist the Netherlands and Belgium reduce their carbon emissions in the near future.
