Under a sales and purchase agreement signed between the two parties, Mitsubishi Gas Chemical will offtake approximately 1 million tons per year of ultra-low carbon methanol from Transition Industries’ ‘Pacifico Mexinol Project’ in Mexico which is expected to be one of the world’s largest ultra-low carbon methanol production projects.
