Hyflexfuel is an EU funded research project which has produced biocrude from various biomasses. The Aarhus University utilized the hydrothermal liquefaction (HTL) process at its pilot plant in Denmark to produce the biocrude.

The Hysynergy Phase II development comprises a 300 MW electrolyzer and Power-to-X facility which will be established next to the Fredericia refinery in Denmark. Under the terms of the agreement, Posco will help Ørsted to establish 1.6 GW offshore wind projects off the coast of Incheon City in Korea. Under an agreement signed between BASF and Vattenfall, BASF will purchase 49.5 % of Vattenfall’s wind farm Hollands Kust Zuid in the Netherlands. Claimed to be the world’s largest offshore wind farm once commissioned, the project is also the first offshore wind farm to be built without subsidies for the power produced.
