With an aim to strengthen industrial cooperation between the UAE and Japan and support the development of new UAE-Japan blue ammonia supply chains, Adnoc-Fertiglobe has delivered its third shipment to Japan this year.

Arcelor Mittal and the Government of Canada will invest the money in decarbonization technologies at Arcelor Mittal Dofasco’s plant in Hamilton, Canada. In this background, the facility will establish Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) and Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) units in order to reduce carbon emissions by approximately 60 %.

An initial market analysis on the CAFIPLA project, which is developing a new technology for obtaining biobased chemicals and products from biowaste, has revealed that there is a high potential for four customized biobased products.

LG Chem has entered into a MOU with Veolia R&E to ensure the stable supply of chemically recycled MMA (methyl methacrylate) for producing transparent ABS (high value-added synthetic resin). Linde has started up its new liquid hydrogen plant in La Porte, Texas, USA which is the company’s fifth unit in the country. The facility is expected to supply over 30 tons per day of high-purity liquid hydrogen to meet the rising demand.
