Twelve and LanzaTech have teamed up to develop the world’s first polypropylene from CO2. Twelve’s carbon transformation technology along with LanzaTech’s carbon recycling ‘Pollution to Products’ technology will be used to produce the unique polypropylene.

Morocco has recently announced its plans to develop the Hevo Ammonia Morocco project, the largest green hydrogen and green ammonia project in the country. On completion, the project is expected to produce 183,000 tons of green ammonia and reduce 280,000 tons of CO2 annually.

Arbor Gas has selected Topsoe’s Tigas technology for producing renewable gasoline at a new facility in the Gulf Coast region (USA). The facility is expected to produce 1,000 barrels per day of renewable gasoline and will be operational by 2024.

Exxon Mobil’s affiliate Imperial Oil has plans to produce 20,000 barrels per day of renewable diesel at a new complex at Canada’s Strathcona refinery. The complex will make use of locally grown plant-based feedstock and hydrogen with carbon capture and storage to meet the low-carbon fuel standards.

The Floating Liquefied Natural Gas project by Petronas has chosen BASF’s OASE purple gas treatment technology for its Acid Gas Removal Unit process. The project will extract natural gas from deepwater gas reservoirs in depths up to 1,500 meters.

Brightmark and Chevron under their joint venture Brightmark RNG Holdings have plans to own projects across the USA in order to produce and market dairy biomethane, a renewable natural gas. The renewable natural gas can be used for vehicles operating on compressed natural gas.
