Uponor Infra and Borealis have teamed up to create Ultra Rib 2 Blue, a high-performance plastic sewer pipe made from 50 % renewable raw material which will help to reduce the carbon footprint by up to 70 %. The product is based on Borealis’ Bornewables portfolio in which circular polyolefin products are manufactured with renewable feedstocks.

Under a MOU signed between PureCycle Technologies and Mitsui, both the companies will jointly develop and operate a recycling facility in Japan to convert polypropylene waste into Ultra-Pure Recycled Polypropylene. The move is expected to support the establishment of a circular economy in the Asian country.

Under a MOU signed between Mitsui and CF Industries, both the companies will jointly explore the development of blue ammonia projects in the United States by conducting various feasibility studies. The companies will also study different areas including the establishment of blue ammonia supply and supply chain infrastructure, CO2 transportation and storage, etc.
