RWE has preselected Linde as the technical provider for two 100 MW PEM electrolyzers of the large-scale ‘GET H2’ project in Lingen, Germany. The 200 MW plant is part of a mega 300 MW electrolyzer plant which is expected to produce green hydrogen if it secures the funding from the German Government.

Yara is all set to produce green ammonia at its Herøya plant in Norway by making use of hydrogen based on renewable energy. The plant is expected to produce enough hydrogen to produce 20,500 tons of ammonia annually thus, making it one of the world’s largest projects producing green ammonia.

With this mega project in Illinois, USA, Air Liquide has plans to bring its worldwide biomethane production capacity to 1.8 TWh. The new unit will produce biomethane from biogas from a solid waste treatment plant and will have a production capacity of 380 GWh per year.

thyssenkrupp Uhde Chlorine Engineers has bagged a contract from Air Products to supply a mega electrolysis plant to the green hydrogen project at NEOM in Saudi Arabia. The company is expected to engineer, procure and fabricate the plant based on its 20 MW alkaline water electrolysis module.
