Plug Power, Olin to Develop 15 tpd Plant for Producing Green Hydrogen

Plug Power and Olin Corporation have come together to establish a joint venture under which both the companies will produce as well as market green hydrogen in the background of rising demand for fuel cell in the global hydrogen economy. The JV will set up its first green hydrogen production plant in St. Gabriel, Louisiana, USA which is expected to produce 15 tons per day.

Black & Veatch Awarded EPC Contract for World’s Largest Green Hydrogen Hub in USA

Black & Veatch has secured a contract by Mitsubishi Power Americas and Magnum Development to provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for a first-of-its kind advanced clean energy storage project in Delta, Utah, USA. The new green hydrogen hub is expected to convert 220+ MW of renewable energy daily to 100 metric tons of green hydrogen which will be stored in two salt caverns.
