Anellotech has demonstrated its new direct route to light olefins and BTX from conversion of mixed plastic waste. The firm’s Plas-Tcat catalytic pyrolysis technology was used for the demonstration which was carried out in a 0.5 tpd pilot plant.

Worley has secured a project management services contract for Vertex Hydrogen’s low-carbon hydrogen plant at Stanlow Manufacturing Complex in Ellesmere Port, UK. The scope of work incudes the inside battery limit of the plant, as well as outside battery limit works. Adnoc Refining is expected to complete the first phase of its Waste Heat Recovery project at the General Utilities Plant in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, UAE. The 600-million-dollar project will recycle waste heat generated from the plant, thus increasing power production and thermal efficiency of the facility by around 30 % with no additional emissions.

Air Liquide has plans to develop three new plants for supplying ultra-high purity industrial gases to two of the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturers.
