Aker Carbon Capture has delivered the world’s first carbon capture pilot for smelters in Rana, Norway. The pilot unit is connected to Elkem’s plant in Rana which produces high-purity ferrosilicon as well as microsilica and on full-scale, it is expected to capture 1.5 million tonnes of CO2.

Air Liquide’s autothermal reforming technology has been chosen by Inpex Corporation for Japan’s first demonstration project which aims to produce low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia.
