BASF starts up its first commercial loopamid plant for recycled polyamide 6 at the Caojing site in Shanghai, China. loopamid is capable of transforming textile waste into a valuable resource, helps save raw materials and closes the textile loop. The unit will have an annual capacity of 500 metric tons.
