Mitsubishi Electric Corporation announced that it will conduct a field test of its Ozone Backwashing Energy-Saving Membrane Bioreactor (Eco-MBR).

Under the Planning (Wales) Act 2015, this is the maiden project to receive planning permission as a Development of National Significance process. The project will be carried out on a cost reimbursable basis by Fluor’s integrated engineering team in Farnborough and at the Pembroke Refinery.

Chevron Corporation has recently announced that it has started producing liquefied natural gas (LNG) at the Wheatstone Project in Western Australia. The first cargo is on track and will be shipped in the coming weeks. The company has plans to export 8.9 million metric tons of LNG per year to customers in Asia.
