Thyssenkrupp Uhde has entered into a contract with Egypt-based Delta Company for Fertilizer and Chemical Industries. Under the terms of the agreement, Thyssenkrupp Uhde will provide engineering solutions for revamping the ammonia plant complex as well as supply its ammonia technology for the production of ammonia and urea at the unit.
Linde under its subsidiary White Martins has plans to build, own and operate a second electrolyzer to produce green hydrogen in Brazil. On completion, the plant is expected to supply green hydrogen to glass manufacturer Cebrace to reduce emissions from their glass melting furnaces.
