Invenergy’s first clean hydrogen project, the Sauk Valley Hydrogen facility in Rock Falls, Illinois, USA has reached commercial operations. The project is expected to produce up to 40 metric tons of clean hydrogen annually with the capacity to store up to 400 kilograms of clean hydrogen on site.

Mc Dermott has secured a feed contract by Clean Hydrogen Works for its Ascension Clean Energy Project in Louisiana, USA. The project is expected to initially produce 2.4 million MTPA of clean ammonia, with expansion in subsequent phases to 7.2 MTPA.

Ta’ziz has awarded a 1.7-billion-dollar EPC contract to Samsung E&A for developing one of the world’s largest methanol plants in Al Ruwais Industrial City, Al Dhafra region, Abu Dhabi. On completion, the project is expected to produce 1.8 mtpa of methanol and is claimed to be among the world’s most energy-efficient methanol facilities.
