BASF’s Performance Materials Division has converted all of its European sites to run completely on renewable electricity. The changeover applies to the compounding of Engineering Plastics, Polyurethanes and Thermoplastic Polyurethanes and Specialty Polymers.

Evonik Fuhua New Materials (Sichuan) Co. is the newly formed joint venture company between Evonik and Fuhua. The firm will produce as well as market hydrogen peroxide in China.

Air Liquide has plans to develop two large-scale electrolyzer projects which will produce renewable and low-carbon hydrogen in Europe. The first project comprises of an Air Liquide 200 MW electrolyzer and the second project involves the development of a 250 MW electrolyzer.

MOL Group has produced a diesel fuel containing Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil and Sustainable Aviation Fuel at the refinery of Slovnaft in Bratislava, Slovakia. The diesel fuel was successfully tested by the Hungarian Isotoptech Zrt laboratory which confirmed that it contains the required ratio of HVO.
