OMV has secured a grant from the EU Innovation Fund for the first time for its planned industrial Reoil plant. Saudi Arabia's CMDC has awarded a 15-million-euro contract to Thyssenkrupp Nucera for expanding its chlor-alkali plant in Jubail Industrial City. Under the terms of the contract, Thyssenkrupp Nucera will supply its energy-efficient and environmentally friendly membrane technology for the project.
