The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) and Mubadala Investment Company signed a framework agreement to explore together potential global growth opportunities that build on the partner's refining and petrochemicals assets. The oil company also announced an investment of $ 1.4 billion to upgrade and expand its Bu Hasa Field as it ramps up onshore crude production capacity.

With an annual production capacity of 45,000 tonnes, the massive plant will offer hydrogen peroxide in three concentrations – 35 %, 50 % and 60 %. The firm also has plans to invest 103 million dollars in the next 3-5 years for capacity expansion of the chemical complex.

Dupont is investing more than $ 80 million to build a new manufacturing facility in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province in East China. The facility will produce compounded high-end engineering plastics and adhesives to serve customers in transportation, electronics, industrial and consumer products markets.
