ZPC plans to build a new Polycarbonate-line at its petrochemical and refinery site on Dayushan Island, PR China. The company has recently licensed EPC’s Variplant technology for the new 260,000-tons/year-production line.

Perstorp announced the sale of Bio Products, a producer of biodiesel and glycerine in Scandinavia, to a Swedish investor together with a member of the subsidiary’s management team. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Invista plans to add 40,000 tons of nylon 6,6 polymer capacity at its current 150,000-ton polymer plant at the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP). Construction is targeted for mid-2019 and production would begin in 2020.
