With the new kytero single-use pharma separator, GEA presented a world first for the biopharmaceutical single-use industry. Haldor Topsoe has entered into a 51-million-dollar loan agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to support its research in the development of low-carbon technologies for the production of green hydrogen, green ammonia, biofuels, and electrified methanol.

Under a contract signed between thyssenkrupp Uhde Chlorine Engineers and Shell, thyssenkrupp will engineer, procure and fabricate a 200 MW electrolysis plant based on its large-scale 20 MW alkaline water electrolysis module for the mega ‘Hydrogen Holland I’ project in the port of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The project will produce green hydrogen for the industry and transport sector in the region.

Mitsui and GS Energy have plans to join the low carbon blue ammonia project in Ruwais, UAE as equity partners wherein they will also supply large volumes of blue ammonia to the energy and industrial sectors in Japan and Korea in order to achieve decarbonization of these sectors. The partnerships will strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position as a leader in low-carbon fuels and clean hydrogen economy.
