In the background of rising inflation, W. R. Grace has announced an increase in global prices for its Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) catalysts. The company states that the move was necessary as inflation was impacting the energy as well as raw material markets.

CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals Company (CSPC) will be using Neste’s Nexpao technology for its new synthetic base oil production unit in Huizhou City, China. The technology enables energy efficient production of polyalphaolefins which is in line with CSPC's sustainable development strategy.

With this project, IVL intends to recycle about 2 billion additional used Pet plastic bottles in the Philippines which will be used to produce recycled Pet resin suitable for use in food-contact applications.

With an aim to expand the green hydrogen economy within Europe and across the globe, Cummins has plans to develop a new gigawatt PEM electrolyzer manufacturing plant in Guadalajara, Spain. The project is expected to produce 500 MW of electrolyzers annually and can be scalable to produce more than 1 GW every year.

Technip Energies has won a large contract, which is between 250 million euros and 500 million euros of revenue, for Ineos’ Project One ethane cracker in Belgium. The 1,450 kta cracker will be using Technip Energies’ technologies to reduce its CO2 footprint by less than 50 %.
