German Coperion aims to get a foothold in Asia: The company has equipped a special assembly facility for its modular compounding systems at its production site in Shanghai/China. The new 2,000 m² facility will help to cope with the increasing demand for modular compounding systems in the rapidly developing markets of the Far East.

Coperion moves its Chinese extruder production to a new location: By February 2015, the company will have located to a new facility in the Nanjing Jiangning District. It's current production site in China will focus on R&D and Technology, Coperion explained.

Thyssenkrupp Polysius has won a contract from PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk., Jakarta, to build a second cement plant near the town of Tuban on the northern coast of the island of Java. The contract is worth around 250 million US dollars and the plant is scheduled to start production in 2015.
