Under a Letter of Intent signed between BASF and Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, both the parties will work together to support the growth of Taiwan’s semiconductor ecosystem. BASF’s Electronic Materials business will also expand its Kuanyin site in Taoyuan with additional production capacity for advanced semiconductor materials.
