International partners BP, Mitsui, Shell and Total Energies have each been awarded a 10 % stake in Adnoc’s low-carbon Ruwais liquefied natural gas project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. A signing ceremony was recently held to mark the occasion.

Linde under its subsidiary White Martins has plans to build, own and operate a second electrolyzer to produce green hydrogen in Brazil. On completion, the plant is expected to supply green hydrogen to glass manufacturer Cebrace to reduce emissions from their glass melting furnaces.

EET Hydrogen Power, Europe’s first hydrogen-ready combined heat and power plant will be developed at Essar Energy Transition’s Stanlow refinery in the UK. With this project, EET Fuels’ aims to become the lowest carbon process refinery globally and EET Hydrogen aims to become the leading low carbon hydrogen producer in the UK.

Under the European IPCEI Hy2Infra wave, BP has secured funding for its 100 MW green hydrogen project located next to its Lingen Refinery in Germany. On completion, the project has the potential to supply green hydrogen to its refinery as well as industrial customers in the region.

Messer has built a nitrogen production plant for Harman Becker Automotive System Manufacturer in Székesfehérvár, Hungary. The energy-efficient and remote-controlled plant is expected to meet the nitrogen demand of the audio and infotainment manufacturer.

The first Lummus Advanced Waste Plastic Recycling plant will be located at Tiszaújváro, Hungary and is expected to have a processing capacity of 40,000 tons of mixed waste plastics per annum.
