Linde has plans to invest more than 2 billion dollars to develop a world-scale integrated clean hydrogen and atmospheric gases facility in Alberta in order to supply clean hydrogen to Dow’s Fort Saskatchewan Path2Zero Project in Canada.

Under an agreement signed between Linde and Shell, Linde will be responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction of a new 100 MW proton-exchange membrane hydrogen electrolysis facility for the Refhyne II project at the Shell Energy and Chemicals Park Rheinland in Germany.

Arrow Energy, a 50:50 joint venture between Shell and Petrochina, has plans to develop Phase 2 of Arrow Energy’s Surat Gas Project in Queensland, Australia. This phase is expected to contribute around 22,400 barrels of oil equivalent per day at peak production.
