Bain Capital has announced a majority investment in the Milacron Injection Molding and Extrusion business which is a globally renowned provider of highly engineered plastic processing equipment and services.

The four Covestro sites that are now running completely on renewable energy are all based in the USA and include the sites of Channelview, Texas; South Deerfield, Massachusetts; New Martinsville, West Virginia and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

BP Europa has plans to sell its Ruhr Oel – BP Gelsenkirchen operation in Germany which includes the BP refinery in Gelsenkirchen and DHC Solvent Chemie in Mülheim an der Ruhr. The move is in line with BP’s goal of delivering a simpler, more focused, higher value company.
