A new report by the World Economic Forum mentions that global investments in clean fuels will need to quadruple by 2030 in order to meet global clean fuel ambitions. Under a Venture Framework Agreement signed between Exxonmobil, Aramco, and Samref, all the parties will work together to assess an upgrade of the Samref refinery, in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia as well as an expansion of the facility into an integrated petrochemical complex.
