New Delhi/India – Nuberg EPC has been awarded a contract by Uzbekistan Hydrogen Peroxide (UHP) JV for developing a 85 Tons Per Day (TPD) hydrogen peroxide plant (50 % chemical grade H2O2) in the Navoi region, Uzbekistan. Under the terms of the agreement, Nuberg EPC will be responsible for the project’s technology, engineering, and construction which is expected to be completed in 15 months.

The hydrogen peroxide technology licensor for the project is EB Nuberg and it will offer patented, high-yield hydrogen peroxide technology and process design services for the establishment of the facility. The hydrogen peroxide manufacturing process involves the most advanced anthraquinone and auto-oxidation of the working solution followed by extraction of crude H2O2 from the working solution with zero discharge. Thus, the plant will comprise three main sections viz hydrogenation, oxidation, and extraction.

The hydrogen peroxide produced at the plant will be used across various industries such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetic, water, food processing, paper & pulp industries and many more.
