For decades now, the simulation software, Inosim, has been used worldwide for process design and material flow optimization. In addition to the comprehensive simulation capabilities, the latest version, Inosim 13, comes with a connection to modern business intelligence solutions, Inosim Bicon. This enhancement to the presentation of the results will enable you to better analyze the complex, dynamic behavior of your production plant and its interdependent processes, states the company.
Another novelty of the latest version is a system for predictive decision support in production: Inosim Foresight. This system precisely predicts the future state of a plant, based on high-precision digital twins, adds the firm. This gives the company information and instructions on the timing and type of next steps in the production process. Predictive production data and KPIs are displayed using intuitive dashboards and ‘departure boards’.
The company has also modernized the central interfaces of its software. The Basic Editor for programmatic model development now uses wwb.Net (optionally the older wwb-com). Additional interfaces enable the integration of Inosim 13 with the Industry 4.0 environment. For example, data from Excel, Matlab, or Python can be imported into the simulation or be exported to these applications.
