Thus, we also arrive at the most important topics Data Protection and Cyber Security. The latter is an important prerequisite for Industry 4.0-architectures. Thus, it not only refers to the protection on the components side, but also to the integrated protection concept and definition of protection objectives.

Training is the Key to Success

It not only refers to the protection of data confidentiality, but also to the availability of critical infrastructures such as energy system, water supply or transport infrastructure. We should also manage and transfer all these discussions and experiences in the world of processing. No one purchases digitalization, Internet of Things or Industry 4.0, but they purchase technologies and solutions. Thus, intensive exchange at an early stage regarding the future of process industry is required.

The discussions between the suppliers and operators should be specifically based on the planned and individual requirements of the respective manufacturing companies. However, it is also clear: Without intensive advanced training of our employees, we cannot raise the big chances from the mentioned developments.
