Inert Gas for Instant Food Powder Mixing
The mixing chamber is then flooded with nitrogen gas. Only then is the mixture introduced. A gentle positive nitrogen pressure of 50 to 100 mbar is maintained in the mixing chamber during mixing and discharging in order to keep atmospheric oxygen away from the mixture. In other cases the feeding of the mixing chamber takes place by pressure pneumatics. The chamber remains gastight and dust-tight even during over-pressure operation. This applies in particular to complex structural elements like shaft seal and inspection door.
What the User Wants: A Mixer, That is Easy to Clean
The mixer ensures comfortable accessibility inside the mixing chamber by means of its generously sized inspection doors. Hence, manual dry cleaning can be carried out quickly. The inspection door is manufactured using the Clevercut process. The o-ring seal inserted in the groove seals gastight and dust-tight very close to the product. This door seal is suitable even for automatic wet cleaning, since it seals practically without dead spaces.
Wet cleaning can also take place by means of Water Dragon, a system specially designed for the automatic wet cleaning of mixers. All parts that come into contact with product are welded joint-free and polished if desired. The polishing or surface qualities of the product-wetted parts are implemented according to the respective customer specification. The surfaces are also electro-polished in special cases. The mixer documents the FDA conformity of all polymer materials and fulfils the current EHEDG specifications for both dry and wet operation.
For the testing of processes, Amixon has more than 30 test mixers in its factory laboratories in Germany, USA, Japan, Thailand and India. The special order manufacturer precisely implements the customer´s wishes by realising a particularly high degree of production depth. All components of the mixers are made in Paderborn, Germany. ●
