Lyondell Basell has plans to expand its Purell portfolio in North America. With this move, the company aims to brings its proven service model, regulatory compliance and innovation-driven portfolio closer to its North American customers.

Texas/USA – Lyondell Basell (LYB) has recently announced the expansion of its Purell portfolio in North America. For decades, Purell medical-grade polyolefins have been trusted by healthcare and pharmaceutical companies in Europe. With this expansion, LYB brings its proven service model, regulatory compliance and innovation-driven portfolio closer to customers across North America.

The Purell portfolio is designed for medical and healthcare applications, including syringes, ampoules, IV bottles, diagnostic housings, labware, inhalers and packaging. Backed by the LYB Purell Service Concept, customers benefit from:

Stringent quality and traceability systems

Dedicated manufacturing and logistics protocols

Regulatory readiness, including USP and EU Pharmacopeia compliance and Drug Master Files (DMFs)
